My Daughter Still Doesn't Understand Me...

NOTE: This teaching has what I'll call "authenticity" attached to it.  Within, is a recounting of something that recently happened to me and I have kept the language inadequacies of one of the parties intact.  Not for the sake of making fun of anyone, but to try to keep the story both "real" and "authentic".  So if you do get offended, please don't be.  There is nothing written here with the goal of malice.

First off all, my daughter is an adult.  While she was growing up I was most certainly not a Christian.  Not in thought, not in act, nor in deed.  I had always promised myself that I'd "do it better than my dad did it", and to a large degree I believe I did.  But hey, nobody's perfect!

The other night after my wife, daughter and I finished our work for the day, we knew that we had some errands to run, so we decided to go to a Taco Bell that was near the bulk of the errands for dinner.

At the conclusion of our meal, we emptied our trays and walked towards the exit.  When we approached the door, a 40 year old homeless black man opened and held the door for us to walk out.  I politely told him it was not necessary, but was gracious and thanked him for the kind and thoughtful gesture.

But apparently there was a price for his kindness.  You see, he followed us out and began to introduce himself to us...

"Excuse me kind folk, my name is Gary.  I don't got nowhere to live, but the Lord has me in this here ministry going place to place, door to door, person to person to be talkin' to them.  Now I'm not perfect, I know my hair is all matted and I'm dirty and stuff, but if I could just have a moment of your time, I'd appreciate it.  You see, I've been in jail now 6 different times, but now I've been out for 2 years.  Sure, I did a lot of drugs but I'm clean now.  I don't know if you can smell it on me or not, but yeah, I be drinkin' here and there, probably more there than here, but you know how we do.  I'm 40 years old, I don't know many 40 year old men who look as good as me, you know, being where I been and doin what I do.  You know?  Anyway, the God of all things has put me here, not just to tell you this, but about Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1st Kings, 2nd Kings, Ezra, Job, the Psalms, Proverbs, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Daniel, Isaiah, Jonah, Micah and all the way to Revelations.  I ain't perfect and you know, it's this ministry to go to prisons and to teach this things that I be sharin' with you.  Cause, you know, God ain't jus' be here for nuthin, right?  He be doin' what He do, so I be doin' what I be doin, right?  Anyway, you know?"

Now as you can probably tell, poor Gary here is drunk.  He's not just drunk, he's downright sauced to the bone.  The smell of alcohol has permeated his skin and he's doing his best to set me up to pay for his services.  My wife is standing about 8 feet away and my daughter is on high alert, standing with her cell phone in her hands and ensuring that her path is unobstructed so that she can run away and find help.  Knowing how uncomfortable they both were, I politely interrupted Gary...

"Gary, may I tell you something? (he nodded)  I happen to be a Christian Minister and I've listened very closely to all you have said (at that his eyes lit up).  Not only do I understand where you're coming from, but you're absolutely right about everything.  But I'd like to ask you something...  Tell me what you want from me today."

At that point Gary stammered and began to teeter back and forth.  Clearly Gary also appears to have some underlying and undiagnosed psychiatric problems as well.  But after a moment or two of not saying anything, I interjected.

"Gary, if it's money that you want, I don't have any cash on me.  I haven't had any cash in my pockets for several years now.  If it's something else, please tell me what it is, perhaps I can help you."

At that, Gary began to mutter something quietly to himself, again while rocking back and forth.  A quick eyeball over at my family and I can see them clearly disturbed at what's unfolding, but I know that the Holy Spirit is leading me, so I fear not!  And then Gary said...

"Sir, you know God put me here right?  And you know 6 times in jail and ima give up drugs and all.  Yeah, I be spendin' money on alcohols and stuff, but you know, right?"

At that I said to him, "Gary, you have shared your knowledge of the Bible with me today and that was wonderful.  I wish more people would spend the time to actually read it.  You shared some of your testimony with me today, about how you've stopped taking drugs and your ministry work too, right?  Well I have a question for you... Does not God say to not to worry about where you will sleep or what you will eat?  Doesn't He say that he loves you more than the flowers of the field or the birds of the air?  Didn't God say that He most certainly loves you MORE than he loves them?" (references to Matthew 6:24-34 & Luke 9:58)

At that, Gary got very excited and started exclaiming, "That's right, that's right, yeah, you right, you right, He do."

And then I said to him, "Gary, it's so critical that you place all of your faith and all of your trust in God.  Now, more than ever!  God says that everything that is and everything that ever was has been provided by Him and Him alone.  If God loves you so much, that He was willing to sacrifice His one and only Son for you, don't you think that the least that you could do, would be to place all of your faith in Him and in Him alone?"

At that Gary said to me, "I want to thank you for speaking to me and treating me with RESPECT!  Yeah.  Nobody be talking respectfully to me and I just want to thank you, thank you for treating me like a man."  And we shook hands, I gave him a brief hug and then he walked away.  But as he was walking away, it was clear that he was fighting the Demons that were within him.  He started muttering and yelling at things that I was unable to see with my eyes, but I'm absolutely certain that they were there, attacking him mercilessly.

Had Gary not walked away, I would have offered to take him inside and purchase a meal for him to eat, but clearly the Holy Spirit had other plans for both Gary and my family.

Matthew 4:4 - But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.' "

As soon as Gary had gone out of my sight, I turned to my wife and daughter (who were looking at me like I was crazy) and the only thing my daughter was worried about, was the fact that I shook his hand and hugged this man, and she wanted me to get to a sink so that I could wash my hands!

So I turned to her and I said to her....

"Don't you YET understand me?  How in the world can I call myself 'Christian', yet not show this man  the love I feel for him?"

1 John 4:20 - If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

"Where has this man BEEN, that he doesn't deserve to be treated with respect?  What has this man DONE, that he does not deserve to be loved and SHOWN LOVE?  How can I continue to lead others to Christ, if my fruits don't match what I teach???  How can I keep the love I have for this man hidden inside of my heart, when it's clear that this man is not just lacking food to eat and a place to live, but he's lacking love and respect?"

I'm sharing this experience with you for a couple of reasons.  The first, is to remind you that the REALITY of AGAPE LOVE, is indeed within each one of us who are called by His name (Christians).  I had no intention of having this conversation with this man the other day, but for whatever reason God placed this poor soul in my path.  WHY?  Was it for Gary's sake or for that of my wife and daughter?  I don't know and quite honestly I'm not going to dwell on it.  God has his reasons for everything and I'm not always privy to why.

Isaiah 55:8 - "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD."

The one thing I know for sure, is that Gary was placed within my path for HIS Glory!

The second reason that I'm sharing this with you today, is to let you know that I understand the pain that each of you may be going through, if you've become a Christian and your family has not.  My wife and daughter were absolutely terrified during what they've referred to as "the ordeal", while I was as calm as could be, truly at peace.  I knew the entire time that God was in charge, and if God be for us, who can be against us?!

Romans 8:31 - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

If it is God's will that your family will follow you, or not to follow you, that is within HIS WILL, not yours.  It may be easy to hear, but hard to do, and I can promise you that if you continue to place all of YOUR faith and all of  YOUR trust in God, then whatever is SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN, will most certainly happen.  And be warned...  You can't "act" your way through life.  Your fruits are visible even when you're not thinking about them or even when you don't think others are watching...

Mark 4:21-23 - Also He said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."

Until next time, be Blessed...

Silverworks Ministries - Statement of Faith

So while I was straightening out the issue with the Radio Series, it occurred to me that I should put our statement of Faith here on the Blog.  For the love of God, PLEASE, ALWAYS read a Ministries Statement of Faith before you devote your time, your family and put your money towards it.  Make sure that it not only fits Scripture, but that they're not calling out Scripture erroneously...

About Pastor Keith & Silverworks Ministries Beliefs

Here are our beliefs, they will be added to over time:

1. God is the creator of everything. (Genesis 1, Genesis 2:1-7, Mark 10:6)

2. While it's true that "God exists as 3 separate persons", this belief is usually made weak and is confused by most people.  God the Father exists in a manner above and beyond our human perception of understanding.  There are some Christians who have used "String Theory" in order to better explain how God the Father exists (not for the faint of heart).  God the Son, is clearly and succinctly described in 1 Timothy 3:16.  In order for God to forgive us of our sins, He decided to take all of our sin upon Himself by becoming the perfect sacrifice (John 1:29, Isaiah 9:6-7).  The Holy Spirit (the comforter) was left behind by Jesus to take up residency within each one who believes on Him (Acts 2:17, Acts 8:17, John 19:30, Romans 9:33, 1 Peter 2:6).

3. Once you receive your salvation, it can not be lost or taken away!  This is easily understood by reading Romans 8:28-30 & John 6:39.  As an aside, you can not lose what you never had.

4. Homosexuality is just as much of a sin as telling a lie, there are no "degrees" of sin.  The difference between the two, is that lying is something people usually do "spur of the moment", as a way to hide the truth.  This is certainly sinful, but is easily repented of.  Being a practicing homosexual is acting in blatant sin, in open defiance of God's Word.  How can you repent of something that you go out of your way to do on purpose?  God clearly tells us that He will not hear our prayers if we have not repented (2 Chronicles 7:14).  Practicing both Homosexuality and Christianity is impossible, as they are incompatible (2 Corinthians 6:13-18).

5. Marriage is defined as a covenant between a man, a woman and God (Malachi 2:14).  When a man and woman marry, they become one flesh through the act of procreation (Matthew 19:5-7).

6. The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)

7. The absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace alone, through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).

8. The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).

9. Christians are examples of the love of God in this world.  It is this (agape love) that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (1 John 4:16-17).  Bearing in mind however, that it was Jesus Himself that said, "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." (Matthew 10:34).

10. Jesus Himself gave the mandate for the entire Church to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every living creature". (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20)

11. Water Baptism and re-enactments of Communion are NOT mandated in order to be a Christian.  Baptism is however acceptable as an outward sign of an inner change (Mark 1:4-11).

12. The term "God's house" has been improperly used by Christians for at least 500 years.  God does NOT live in a building! (1 Corinthians 6:19, Acts 17:24)

13. God's "Chosen People" are the Jews (1 Chronicles 16:13).  Not the Muslims, not the Mormons, not the American Indians, not the blacks, & not the Christians.

14. There is no "Replacement Theology" taught in the Bible.  The USA is never substituted for Israel.  Mormons are never substituted for Israel.  Blacks are never substituted for Israel, etc.

15. The following Religions are replete with false teachings and false doctrine: Mormonism, Catholicism, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Pentecostalism, The Emergent Church, Church of God, Church of Christ, Seventh Day Adventist, Christian Science, Church of Scientology, The New Age Movement, The Unification Church, Unitarian Universalists, Buddhism, Hinduism & about 40,000 other man-made Religions.

Ephesians 4:4-6 - There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lordone faithone baptismone God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

One body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one GOD AND FATHER OF who?  OF ALL CHRISTIANS.

16. God sees all men as His perfect creations.  There are no races or ethnicities that God prefers over another (Genesis 1:31).

17. There are absolutely no Apostles or Prophets walking among us today (2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Matthew 11:13, Luke 16:16, Hebrews 1:1-2).  If you know someone who calls themself by one of those titles, they are more than likely practicing false Christianity.  Do not follow them! (Matthew 10:16, Acts 20:29, Luke 17:23) As an aside, while there are certainly no more LIVING Apostles, we full well recognize that God could choose to send an ACTUAL Prophet at any time.

18. Satan (Lucifer) is an actual, real, created being (Isaiah 14:12, Job 1:7, Zechariah 3:1, Mark 1:13, Luke 10:18) To believe that Satan (or the Devil) is just an idiom for "evil", will leave you directly exposed to the threat he poses.

19. Hell (Sheol or Gehenna) is a real place and without the Atoning Sacrifice of the Blood of Christ, you will find yourself squarely within its fires for eternity. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10)

20. The Bible was not originally written in English.  Therefore, any translation of the Bible is either incomplete, or in some cases severely dangerous!  We have faith in some of the translations because we also have the original Hebrew and Greek texts, which prove that some of the translations are faithful to the originals. (by "original" I don't mean the first, original document, I mean the original languages used to write them)

21. Abundant Life Theology (also referred to as the Prosperity Gospel) is a false teaching and the result of an inability to understand the clear Scripture given in John 10:10. (See John 1:4 & John 17:1-3 for the definition of "life")

22. The Word of Faith movement (also referred to as Word-Faith or simply Faith) is another heretical teaching that is very similar to #21 above and just as dangerous.  Notable heretics perpetrating this "crime of doctrine" include Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer (among many others).  The idea is that you have to "dream it so that you can achieve it".  That concept is so absolutely counter-Biblical, that the only way to show it to you is to do an in-depth Bible study.

23. Potential Church has the very latest in false doctrines, that is surely on its way up in the ranks of debauchery.  Directly related to #14, #21 and #22 above, the idea comes from their church slogan of "Partnering with people to reach their God potential".  The problem with this, is the inspiration for their slogan.  The inspiration comes from a mangled understanding of Jeremiah 29:11.  Chapter 29, is solely directed TO THE JEWS.  The irony of Jeremiah 29, is that God is detailing punishments that are going to be handed out to FALSE PROPHETS!

2 Timothy 4:1-4 (ESV) - I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Update on all things "But is it Biblical?"

Back in October I told everyone to look forward to a new season of our radio show and a revamped website.

The website has stalled, because Wix has some major problems with their HTML5 websites.  For those of you in the technical-know, AJAX is not very "deep link friendly".  So people who still insist on using Apple products will continue to have a substandard experience when visiting our website.  Apple's phones may be pretty, but they're not very Technology Friendly.  Given the time constraints right now, moving our site would be a burden.  For those of you who are interested, all Apple related hits to ALL of my various websites account for only about 16% of all the hits.  That includes all revisions of the iPhone, Mac & Apple TV.  At 16%, their voice is certainly louder than one might actually think.

As for the radio shows next season.... Well, Pastor Jeff and myself have been inundated with secular work.  Since that's what God is using to keep our families fed, clothed and warm, we've got no choice but to wait for an opening AND a signal from God to do so.

For those of you who may be wondering WHY Pastor Jeff and I still work normal jobs, it's because we refuse to give up our rights and we remain what is often called a "Free Church".  We don't want 501(c)(3) status.  We want to be able to speak the truth, and although we don't often do this next thing, we want to retain our right to be able to call out individuals within the government who are doing something wrong.  If you accept non-profit status, you give up these rights wholesale.  Unless you want to live your life as a "diplomat" and find "politically correct" and subversive ways to do so, then it's not worth it.  As you know we're anything BUT PC here at Silverworks Ministries.  It's not so much that we're proud of that fact, as much as it is that we're sick of listening to people who say one thing and mean another.  You know?  Haven't you noticed that we never ask for "donations"?

2 Timothy 3:12-14 - Those who try to live a godly life because they believe in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But evil people and phony preachers will go from bad to worse as they mislead people and are themselves misled. However, continue in what you have learned and found to be true. You know who your teachers were.

In the mean time, I would like to remind you to PLEASE, stay IN the Word, stay God focused and God centered and no matter WHAT this world throws at you, don't give in, and remember these words:

Deuteronomy 33:27 - The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms;

Until we resume, we are always available for emails or other Biblically related questions...
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need some help or guidance...

Blessings to one and all!

Luke 21:25-28 - "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."

Bible Nuggets 2 - Who are the "Sons of God"?

Pastor Jeff and I like to say that "The Bible is an inexhaustible supply of information"... We refer to it as inexhaustible, because no matter how often you read it and no matter how much you study it, if you're reading it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, from time to time He shows things to you that you've never seen before!

Today's nugget can be found in multiple places, but most specifically in Genesis 6:1-2,4, Job 1:6, Job 2:1, Job 38:7, Matthew 5:9, Luke 20:36, Romans 8:14,19, Galatians 3:26.  But before I share it with you, allow me to give you a brief overview...

There's a term that's used in both the Old and New Testaments that reads, "Sons of God".  There are boundless errors in teaching regarding this "term".  Some people say that the sons of God referred to in the Old Testament (The Torah) are all of Adams children.  Some say that they're the Christians, while others have really peculiar teachings altogether!  What I'm going to share with you today, is so, So, SO simple, that all you need to do is read the verses I call out and you can't help but get the truth, right out of God's mouth...

In the Old Testament the term "Sons of God" appears a grand total of 5 times.  Now I've taught this at least 1,000 times, but I'm going to remind everyone yet again that the Bible was NOT written in English!  It was written in Hebrew, Greek and a small amount of Aramaic.  So when you're reading the Bible, it's in everyone's best interest to sometimes go back to the ORIGINAL language that was used.

Now, those 5 particular verses are Genesis 6:1-2,4, Job 1:6, Job 2:1 & Job 38:7.  If you look up the Hebrew associated with those 5 verses, you'll see something like this, "B'nai ha Elohim". (I say "something like this", because Hebrew is often transliterated into English differently, ie: bnei HaElohim, b'nai Elohim, b'nai ha-Elohim, B'nei Ha Elohim, etc.  They all intend to mean the same exact thing, regardless of how they're spelled out in English.)  So B'nai ha Elohim translates into English as "Sons of God".

So WHO are these supposed Sons of God?

Let's look at the Bible (in English) and see if we can figure it out!

Genesis 6:1-2 - Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.

Are those 2 verses enough for us to figure it out yet?

I don't think so, so let's go further...

Genesis 6:4 - There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

So to paraphrase, "Sons of God came in to daughters of men and had children with them.  Their children were referred to as Giants".  (The offspring of two HUMANS would never be referred to as unnatural giants!)  Is this enough to figure out who these "Sons of God" are yet?  Nope, not yet.  Let's go further...

Job 1:6 - Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

Now this is intriguing!  Again, allow me to paraphrase, "There was a day when the Sons of God came to present themselves before God AND Satan came too!"  This is one of those times when I have to point out the obvious...

Never in Scripture does a sentence start by talking about one thing and end referring to something completely unrelated.  For instance, you wouldn't see something like this, "And in that day, the Lord told men to eat and enjoy the bread of the land and as you eat this meat, give thanks to the Lord."  If that did happen, it would cause mass confusion.

So a day came when the Sons of God AND Satan showed up...

Logically, we have to ask ourselves some questions...
Who (or what) is Satan and How could he possibly be related to those "Sons of God"?

Satan is a term only bestowed upon one individual in the Bible, Lucifer.

What do we know about Lucifer?
Well, his proper name is only used once in Scripture:

Isaiah 14:12-15 - How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ' I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

So who do we all know, that has "fallen from heaven" and has been brought down to Sheol (Sheol is the Hebrew word for Hell), to the lowest depths of the pit?  THE DEVIL!

So, just to be clear: Satan = Lucifer = The Devil

So we've answered the Who and the What, in reference to Lucifer, now we have to ask "How is Satan related to those "Sons of God?"...

Now we have to ask "WHO" (or WHAT) could possibly "fall from Heaven"?

God?  No...
Clouds?  No...
Planets?  No...
I know, how about ANGELS?
Is there such a thing as a "fallen angel"?
You bet there is!

As a matter of fact, there are so many references to fallen angels, I hardly know where to start.  I'll share just a few with you...

2 Peter 2:4 - For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment...

Jude 1:6-7 - And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Revelation 12:7-9 - And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And the final nail in the coffin:

Ezekiel 28:12-15 - ...'Thus says the Lord GOD: "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you."

How's that for the icing on the cake???

It's essential that you remember the "3 C's"...

You have to take the verse you're reading and put it in Context with the chapter and then put it in the Context of the book and finally in Context with the entire Bible.  Context, Context, Context!  It's only by keeping the entirety of Scripture that we can ever truly come to understand what it is that God means when God speaks...

As for the 5 times the term "Sons of God" is used in the New Testament, if you look at those 5 verses (Matthew 5:9, Luke 20:36, Romans 8:14,19, Galatians 3:26), you'll see something verrrrrrrry interesting... (BTW, did you notice there are 5 verses in the OT and 5 verses in the NT?  Coincidence?  I don't think so!)

Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

Luke 20:36 - nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Romans 8:19 - For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

Galatians 3:26 - For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Look at those verses very carefully and tell me what you see...

Go on, read them again...
One more time!

Those 5 verses ALL point to ONE THING...

They say that WE (the Saints!) shall all become Sons of God by and through our faith in Jesus Christ!  That all those who are lead by the Spirit of God shall become Sons of God!  That upon our (the Saints!) resurrection, we shall become EQUAL TO THE ANGELS, thereby becoming Sons of God!

I pray that this has been as much of a Blessing for you to read as it was for me to prepare for you!  Always remember to be like a Berean!  There's Blessings galore waiting for you on EVERY PAGE!

NOTE FROM PASTOR JEFF:  Pastor Jeff asked me to add one more fun tidbit!  Any creature "CREATED BY GOD" is considered to be a "Son of God".  Some examples would be, Lucifer and all the Angels, Adam & Eve AND Jesus!  (BTW, after the fall of Adam and Eve, mankind is referred to as "Sons of Adam", not Sons of God.)

Of course this reminds me to remind you that there are no "Girl Angels".  Sorry, all of the Christmas tree toppers with "female" angels are a feminist / man-made construct.  While there are only a few Angels actually named within the Bible itself, there is a non-Canonical book called "The book of Enoch" that reveals some 200 names of the angels involved in both the fall and after.  Whether the book of Enoch is an inspired text or not isn't really up for debate in this post.  Because whether it is or isn't, the names of the Angels that ARE named in the Biblical canon are all male.  To assume otherwise would just be adding what you feel or what you believe into an otherwise perfect work.  As an aside, those toppers are still pretty, they're just not Biblical...

We're never called to be Christians, but we are called to become Disciples! (John 8:31)
